Goodies with the Rebel

brain cupcakes- dulish
Here are a few amazing shots I took with my new Rebel from Canon! It is such a great camera so far, I can't wait to take some shots outside! The first shot is a random sketch and the limited edition make up collection by L'Oreal Paris. The cupcakes are the entrance into my Halloween activities. Monday night will be filled with midterms, fun, "brain food" and a little fright! Stay tuned for more of my adventures with my Rebel

Layering- Not for the Faint of Heart

I don't wanna go to work!

I try to start my week off on the right foot, like no one's business. This was my outfit for Monday. It was a really breezy day, and I really wanted to be comfortable and warm. The sweater is one of my newer purchases, and I really love the weave pattern around the neck. It is like having a scarf already there! I also threw on a multi color scarf that added some color to my outfit. Threw on a denim shirt and called it a day. My style really revolves around my mood in the morning, and these days, I just want to be warm. The weather is slowly moving towards the winter blues, and I am enjoying the sun until then.

Boots to Consider

Boots to Consider

1.Suede Zip Booties-Old Navy
2.Tan Booties-Call it Spring
3.Glitter Heels-Old Navy
4.Riding Boots in Black-Payless
5.Desert Storm-Payless
6.Zippy Rider- Payless
Hey everyone! I will have some pictures to upload soon..been working hard this week. I have some great outfit pictures from last week that include interesting collars (or lack thereof) and implications of being fatale. Here are some amazing shoes that I have been picturing myself with soon. These boots are fall ready, and perfect for any pocket! Everyone should have a great pair of boots/ booties ready for fall. Some great trends that are out right now are the equestrian style, menswear inspired boots, and everything suede! Suede is very hot right now, so grab up all the suede you can because its covering all things fashion. It is getting cold here in the Big Apple, so we are preparing ourselves with all things fall including scarves, gloves, pea coats, and comfy but cute socks! I must say, this weather is much better for my locks and being able to style it rather than throwing it up for fear of humidity attacking the endearing process of styling. Anyone ready for their mid terms?

Marooning

I try to catch pedestrians in the background

Hey people! This is me hanging out downtown yesterday. I am guessing, if you haven't noticed, Sunday is my day of exploring, eating, drinking, and downright enjoying myself. Posting during the week is difficult with school and work, but I will try this week for sure. As Halloween approaches I face the questions of what I want to be, what I will wear, what I will make as ghoulish treats, etc. So many questions, so little time. I trekked out downtown to try and pick up some of my fall essentials, but I always come home empty handed when I actually plan what to buy. This week will be filled with all types of getting my Halloween ready with a side of class. Check out my new and amazing Pumpkin soap! I resisted tasting it many times because it smells extremely amazing. Hope everyone enjoys their week and such!

Fall Colors Rock

I hate leaving the weekend behind. Most of us live in the real world where work is no option, and a nice weekend consists of staying home and relaxing. I am definitely starting to feel older than my age. I have to remind myself constantly that I have just started my "adult" life filled with making cupcakes, running around town, skipping, and oh yeah, school and working.
Fall is the season that makes me feel like the most natural version of myself. These colors were so inspiring to me and paired together, just make me feel like Fall is near. My favorite nautical inspired mustard sweater and purple maxi dress complement each other so well. Paired with this leather belt, it gives a nice vintage-esq feeling to it. I love weekends, don't you?

Versace for H&M

Have you heard? Ms. Donatella herself will be designing a collection for H&M! It will be coming out as the "Iconic Collection" this fall! It should be coming out soon so we will definitely be seeing it around. I don't know how it is anywhere else, but it seems that designer collabs are selling out faster than the retailers can put them out. Take for instance, Target x Missoni collection. I live in the city where getting to a Target is not the easiest task. Target, I don't want a Missoni fork, but thanks for offering on the website. Hopefully H&M is prepared for the mass amounts of people that die to follow trends. I, for one, will not be waiting in line at the store. I commend those that actually have the time and patience to do so, but we'll see how the real collection looks when it hits stores soon!

Broadway Dreams

who doesn't love a blurry shot of a pedestrian
the shirt of the year
So, I am officially the spokesperson for Dunkin Donuts! Yeah, not really. But their pumpkin blend coffees are to-die-for! This is me off to work in the morning, and these were shot right on 7th Avenue. The Fashion Walk of Fame is on 7th Avenue which features major designers in the Garment District, and I thought I should pay tribute to the amazing designers by taking some pictures nearby. So now, for my outfit. My most favorite t-shirt right now, the one I got from Mattel from Fashion's Night Out, black blazer from Zara and zip leggings/pants from Forever21. I only call them pants for work dress code sake. Trust me, the only trouble I have ever encountered was for my wardrobe being too much, not enough, too awesome, overtly awesome, etc. Hopefully one day, I'll be able to wear whatever I want, do whatever I want, get paid for it, and then some. Hey, I can dream big ok?

A Breezy Day

Today was quite a drastic change in weather than what I'm used to. The one thing about fall I'm not a fan of is: the cold. I mean yeah, its' a great thing for my hair and wearing scarves and layering, but I just despise cold and feeling the wind blowing when its not hot and I depend on a nice breeze. Here are a few shots before heading off to the 9-5. Layered my Urban Outfitters shirt dress with a Zara jacket and black Mary Janes. Nice outfit to start my week off. Hopefully it warms up by Friday, but the weather odds don't usually work in my favor.
